Baby photos, Christmas snapshots, school enrollment photos, wedding photos - our lives are an endless succession of photogenic moments. A father shoots the first photo of his newborn and sets a cycle in motion.
Pix
Pix is a witty and inventive short film that tells the story of an entire life — from birth to death — through staged “photo moments.” In a single continuous take, sets and costumes are rapidly changed to create the illusion of a photo album coming to life: first steps, school pictures, holidays, weddings, family portraits, even grief. With humor and precision, the film satirizes how memories are staged and frozen in photographs, while also reflecting on how we construct and curate our lives for others. Beneath the comedy lies a deeper commentary on authenticity, memory, and the stories we choose to preserve.
