Based on a true story, Tian Wenjun and his ex-wife, Lu Xiaojuan, find their ordinary lives thrown into turmoil when their three-year-old son goes missing. They comb through half the country in search of their child to no avail. Years later, things only get further complicated when they are led to a remote village in which their long-lost son is found with his foster mother.
