Gundula and her husband Gerald, along with their children, head to Mallorca for a week at the invitation of Gerald's mother, Susanne, who is celebrating the opening of her new boutique. However, their vacation quickly turns into a nightmare due to a pickpocket, a closed beach, and the antics of Gundula's father Edgar, who has dementia, and her brother Hadi.

A pickpocket strikes, the local beach is unexpectedly closed, and Gundula finds herself scrambling to manage the antics of her dementia-afflicted father, Edgar, and her unpredictable brother, Hadi.
