Kwan Chiu is a former British Hong Kong soldier who joins the triads due to a financial crisis. One day, Mani barges into Kwan's home, trying to escape from Tai. Kwan agrees to take him in for money and gets into a difficult situation when a deal with a turtle smuggler falls through. Worse, Tai discovers that Kwan has been sheltering Mani.

Kwan Chiu is a former British soldier from Hong Kong who joins the triads due to a financial crisis. One day, a young South Asian thief Mani barges into Kwan's home, running from a local triad leader Tai. Mani offers Kwan a million dollars if Kwan agrees to take him in for a few days to which he agrees. On the other hand, Tai enters into a deal with the Taiwanese turtle smuggler Pickle, but the deal falls through. This puts Kwan in a difficult situation as a middleman. Danger looms when Tai finds out that Kwan has been sheltering Mani.
