The coming of a sudden zombie apocalypse causes South Korea to enter a state of emergency! To fulfill his daughter's birthday wish, fund manager Seok-woo finds time in his busy work schedule to bring her to Busan to celebrate her birthday with ex-wife. Unexpectedly, after the train departs, a zombie virus breaks out rapidly in the train carriage. The panicked passengers run and hide themselves in the train carriage and put up a fight with the zombies. For the sake of his daughter, Seok-woo has to think of a way out instead of waiting for help. How is he going to avoid becoming a zombie and get out of the perilous situation?
