When a ship of Americans and Britons is sunk by a German U-Boat missile during WWII, the survivors must cope with the elements -- and each other. They know nothing about navigation or survival at sea. So when they rescue the Nazi U-Boat Captain, they have no choice but to trust his survival skills, even though he is steering them back to his boat.
