Under my Skin

On the run from a racketeer he owes money to, former jockey Dan Butler (John Garfield) must leave his only son behind in Paris. Dan stops running, concerned with the well-being of his son, whom he left with his nightclub-working girlfriend, Paule Manet (Micheline Presle), and is finally caught by the racketeer, Louis Bork (Luther Adler). Bork demands that he throw an upcoming race that Bork has bet heavily on. Dan Butler is now faced with the loss of his life, or the loss of his son's pride in his father.
