A Chinese Tall Story

An intergalactic tale of battles, warriors, a monkey king, ancient scripture, and love. Tang dynasty monk Tripitaka journeys west in search of sacred Buddhist sutras, as legend has it that he is the only one who can translate them. Stopping in the city of Shache, things go awry for him and his three disciples. What follows is a story of hardship, romance, revenge, and redemption.
