1982, while hiking up in the mountains, Primo Levi rediscovers himself, and shares some time in a mountain retreat with a stranger, an enigmatic man who doesn’t know him or his history. During the hours the two men spend together, Primo Levi feels the need to again face and recount his tragic life experience, from his arrest as a member of the Italian anti-fascist resistance during the Second World War to his incarceration in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
