What is Alice and Steve about?
Alice and Steve is a British “wrong-com” about friendship, family, love and revenge. Alice is devastated when her best friend Steve starts dating her daughter, Izzy. The relationship leaves Alice facing the possibility of losing two of the most important people in her life at once. So, Alice does what any calm, reasonable person would do: she tries everything she can to break them up. But Steve is not easily pushed aside. As Alice’s attempts to end the relationship escalate, Steve pushes back, and what began as a close friendship quickly becomes something much messier. Funny, uncomfortable, and emotionally complicated, Alice and Steve asks how far someone might go for love or revenge.
