Friesland - Familiengeheimnisse
Daily routine continues in the East Frisian province: The young patrol officers Jens Jensen and Süher Özlügül have both applied for the job as department head. Now they both watch each other closely, conscious of not wanting to be outshone before the decision is made. Then the local pharmacist and hobby forensic scientist, Insa Scherzinger, discovers the body of the bouncer of the local disco and puts an end to quiet police life. The deceased, Felix Bilstedt, was the son of a local organic farmer and was also involved in the drug business. While preparing the body for the funeral in Wolfgang Habedank’s funeral home, the conflict between father and son comes to light. Felix’s father hadn’t imagined a career as a criminal for his son. And Felix’s father doesn’t really like Tina, the girlfriend of his dead son, either. In the meantime, two drug dealers from Hamburg show up in Leer and threaten Süher’s father, Günesh. Apparently, he was entangled in a drug business years ago where the drugs ended up falling into the water. The harbormaster reaffirms his daughter that this must be a case of mistaken identity. But how did the gangsters find Günesh? What is the connection between the dead bouncer and the gangsters? Is Leer a new hub for the international drug traffic? What does the girlfriend of the dead man know about this? And what is Günesh withholding from his daughter? Jens and Süher have a lot of work to do to solve the murder of Felix Bilstedt.
