For judge Michael Jacobi, his job was a calling, but things go awry when his son Julian confesses to a hit-and-run car accident. The injured motorcyclist, who is in a coma, is no stranger to Jacobi. The victim is Radan Sailovic's son, a notorious clan boss he had once put behind bars. The judge knows how dangerous it will be for his son when the Sailovics figure out the culprit. However, his attempt to get rid of his son's car with the help of his friend Franz fails. Inspector Kirchner's investigations put Jacobi under pressure. In the meantime, Arija Sailovic, who doesn't believe her brother had an accident, takes over the clan's affairs. A bloody gang war begins with the shady manufacturer Lindner, who also becomes a threat to Jacobi. The judge must now save his son – and career.
