Once Upon a Time in Hong Kong
It is 1973. Hong Kong Police work hand-in-glove with the triads. Predominantly British, they are highly corrupt and the city is ensnared in an endemic of corruption.
The governor finally makes the call to set up the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of Hong Kong. Hank Chan and Nash Pak select a group of elites to be the ICAC's first batch of investigators, with their main targets being the chief Chinese inspector, Lak Chui, and the triad leader, Cripple Ho. ICAC is successful in their early missions bringing down the kings of the corrupt empire. Cripple Ho and Lak Chui join in retaliation, while Hank Chan and Nash Pak remain resilient and determined to eliminate the two tyrants of corruption. Thus, the battle between the righteous and the evil begins.
