Where can I watch the Home Alone movies?
All six Home Alone movies are available to stream on Disney+, from the 1990 classic that started it all, to the 2021 Disney+ Original.
Home Alone
We’ll start with the classic that started it all. When Kevin McCallister’s (Macaulay Culkin) family jets off to Paris for the holidays, accidentally leaving him home alone, he initially delights in being able to eat junk food and watch as much TV as he wants. Problems arise when burglars Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) prepare to rob the McCallister home, which they thought would be empty. Using cunning and ingenuity to devise elaborate booby traps, Kevin thwarts their repeated attempts at breaking in while his mm, Kate (Catherine O’Hara), races to get back to her son.
The movie is a Christmas staple, directed by Chris Columbus, scored by John Williams, and written by John Hughes, who brought his trademark mix of slapstick comedy and earnest emotion to the script.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York
Chris Columbus, John Hughes, and star Macaulay Culkin team up a second time for a Big Apple adventure. Once again, Kevin gets separated from his family, accidentally boarding a plane to New York City instead of Florida. Armed with his dad’s credit card, Kevin lives it up in Manhattan, checking into a luxury hotel and treating himself to extravagant room service. However, Kevin’s fancy city break is interrupted when he encounters his old foes, Harry and Marv, who need to be re-taught a lesson: you can’t mess with kids on Christmas.

Home Alone 3
Heads up! Home Alone 3 introduces a new protagonist, Alex Pruitt (Alex D. Linz), who shares Kevin’s knack for booby-trap-building. While home alone with chickenpox, Alex springs into action when his house gets targeted by spies on the hunt for a remote-controlled car, containing a secret computer chip. With a little help from his pets, Alex uses homemade traps to outwit the bandits. The film is written and produced by John Hughes, but this time, Raja Gosnell, the editor behind Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, steps into the role of director.

One of the infamous “Wet Bandits,” Marv (portrayed by French Stewart), returns with his wife and accomplice, Vera (Missi Pyle), and is on a quest to kidnap a foreign royal. Kevin uses his old skills and new tech to stop the crooks and save Christmas — and maybe his parents’ marriage, too.
