Synopsis of Perfect Crown

What if the Korean monarchy still existed in the 21st century?

Seong Hui-ju, the daughter of South Korea's largest chaebol, is an impressive woman possessing exceptional beauty and intelligence. Beneath the surface, however, she harbours a complex about being born out of wedlock. What this ambitious woman desires above all else is to acquire a genuine bloodline. Meanwhile, Grand Prince I-an, lauded by the people as the "most beloved member of the royal family" due to his innate dignity and charm, possesses nothing of any actual value as the second son of the royal family. Despite his ardent ambitions, he is forced to stay silent, leading a lonely life.

The two eventually meet and decide to enter into a marriage contract, each for their own reasons. Despite their similar circumstances, they have made different choices in life, but this contract marks a turning point in both their lives, and before long, they begin to realize that their feelings for each other go beyond any contract…
