Empress Navier is blindsided by her husband Emperor Sovieshu of the Eastern Empire, when he declares that he’s fallen in love with another woman and wants a divorce. Now, Navier has a choice to make. While her life as she knows it teeters, Navier resolves to turn deceit and pain into an opportunity and offers her husband a bold deal. She'll agree to the divorce, as long as she is granted permission to remarry. But the most shocking detail is who she hopes to make her new husband. Navier has Prince Heinrey of the rival Western Kingdom in her sights, believing he could be the key to her new life.

In true rofan fashion, the royals’ private relationships shape their kingdoms’ futures, and romantic gestures become entangled with political motivations. Though set in a lavish fantasy world, Navier’s journey, from an underestimated and scorned wife to a woman intent on coming out on top with her dignity intact, is a relatable tale about resilience and what it means to create your own destiny.
