New Zealand fans can stream every match of The Championships, Wimbledon live and exclusive on ESPN on Disney+ from Monday, June 29
The Championships, Wimbledon sees Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek looking to defend their Men’s and Women’s singles titles, plus the return of legend Serena Williams when the 139th edition begins on June 29, 2026 at The All-England Lawn Tennis Club.
Tennis fans will be able to stream every ball of every match throughout Wimbledon via ESPN on Disney+.
The Men’s Singles Contenders
In the men’s singles, all eyes will fall on Jannik Sinner. The world number one captured his first Wimbledon title last year, beating defending champion, Carlos Alcaraz.
The Italian will bring impressive winning form into the All-England Lawn Tennis Club.
His main rival Alcaraz, will not take part in the tournament, having withdrawn due to a wrist injury.
This means the challengers will form in the shape of seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic, French Open champion Alexander Zverev, Taylor Fritz, Jack Draper and Australian Alex de Minaur.
The Biggest Stories To Watch In The Women’s Draw
Women’s world number one Aryna Sabalenka arrives at the tournament as the favourite on the women’s side of the draw.
Iga Swiatek is the defending Wimbledon Champion and looms as the main challenger to Sabalenka.
The major news is the return of Serena Williams, who has made a shocking entry into the main draw, accepting a Wildcard into the Women’s singles.
Wimbledon will mark Williams’ first singles appearance in four years after retiring from the sport at the 2022 US Open.
