A police detective, Choi, is kidnapped by a taxi driver on his way home from a work dinner. During the ensuing struggle to escape, the detective ends up killing the driver. Fearing the incident could devastate his career, he decides to cover up the murder. However, on the following morning, he discovers the body of the man that he killed hanging on display outside his police station.

Choi is a highly decorated homicide detective with an extraordinary closure record. One evening, he is kidnapped by his taxi driver on the way home. When Choi kills the driver, he fears that the incident could devastate his career and covers up the murder. However, on the following morning, the driver's body winds up on display in front of the police station and Choi himself is assigned to the case. Realizing that he is caught in a trap, he must now untangle his past mistakes to figure out why he was targeted in the first place.
