Mosquito, Monk, Dragon, White Monkey, and Dog Boy are members of the ‘Gang of Princes.’ Geta, Dragon's father, teaches them about the laws of honor and the brotherhood that they must fight to protect. The boys soon begin to enjoy their newfound gangster lifestyle, but a gang from another area attempts to muscle in on the action in Monga by persuading Monk to betray his gang. Mosquito uncovers Monk’s betrayal, and the scene is set for a violent showdown.

Monga

Set in Wanhua, the oldest district in Taipei, Monga is a violent film that deals with brotherhood and crime. Monga is the historical name of present day Wanhua, and film depicts a struggle between gangs in this district during the 1980s. Mosquito, Monk, Dragon, White Monkey, and Dog Boy are members of the ‘Gang of Princes.’ Geta, one of Monga’s gang leaders and also Dragon's father, teaches them about the laws of the brotherhood and honor that they must fight to protect. The boys soon begin to enjoy their newfound gangster lifestyle and are already planning to take over as the top gang on the streets of Monga. But little do they know that there are others who are deeply jealous of Mosquito’s success. A gang from another area attempts to muscle in on the action in Monga by befriending Wen Qian, a member of a rival gang. The outsiders conspire to take out Monga’s gang bosses, including Geta, and persuade Monk to betray his gang. Mosquito uncovers Monk’s betrayal, and the scene is set for a violent showdown.
