Antonio (Javier Cámara) is a teacher who uses Beatles songs to teach English in Spain in 1966. When he hears that his hero, John Lennon, is in Almería shooting a film, he decides to try to meet him and sets out on a journey. On the way, he picks up Juanjo (Francesc Colomer), a 16-year-old boy who has run away from home, and Belén (Natalia de Molina), a 21-year-old girl who also seems to be escaping from something.
