Chi trova un amico trova un tesoro
This 1980s adventure comedy film directed by Sergio Corbucci starring Bud Spencer and Terence Hill is set on a tropical island. Theme song performed by La Bionda Bros. Alan, pursued by loan sharks, stows away on Charlie’s boat just as he’s heading out on a solo cruise around the world sponsored by a jam company. After the first, funny fight between the two, Alan manipulates the ship's compass, setting the boat on a new course towards a remote island that is supposed to hide a treasure according to his uncle's map. When Alan and Charlie step on the island, they meet a savage tribe, a bunch of hostile pirates trying to abduct them for slave trading and an old Japanese soldier unaware that the war is long over. When they finally find the treasure, they discover that it was left behind by the Japanese army during World War II. In the meantime, the loan sharks manage to find Alan on the island, resulting in a funny fistfight and shooting, at the end of which the baddies are easily captured. A big farewell party follows, and Alan and Charlie can leave the island. But when they realize that the natives are captured by slave traders they go back to the island and defend them to the sound of punches and blows. Finally the Navy rescue Alan and Charlie, leaving them with no money (and without the idol they had received from the grateful natives). As they say, “He who loses a treasure finds a friend”…or not?
