Maria, He Doesn't Like It
Jan wants to marry his German-Italian girlfriend Sara. They plan a small, unspectacular wedding at the registry office, but Jan isn't prepared for the reaction of his future father-in-law. Antonio, who came to Germany as a guest worker in 1965 and married Sara's mother Ursula, demands they have a proper wedding in southern Italy. Jan, Sara and their parents travel to Campobello to prepare for the big day with the whole clan but when he is confronted with the southern temperament, a foreign cuisine, soft beds and hard bureaucracy, Jan begins to ask himself if Sara and her family are really right for him...
