The Martini family is back with more captivating adventures, amidst new arrivals and welcome returns. While preparations are merrily underway for the upcoming births – Bianca, Melina, and Tracy are all expecting – Grandpa Libero has returned from America. With his vivacity and generosity he will help Lele cope with the numerous complications and problems he faces at work and at home.

The key theme of the new season is the preservation of the Martini’s home and its symbolism in all the characters’ lives. The financial crisis and the problems of a tired old country also affect the lives of our characters. They have to roll up their sleeves to keep Fulvio Magnani, a ruthless businessman from taking over Poggio Fiorito and building a new luxury homes district in its place. Lele and Bianca are happy about the upcoming birth of their baby but will have to face an obstacle along the way. To make matters worse, Dr. Lele Martini has to deal with problems arising at the clinic due to it being taken over by Guenda Pacifico and Tiziano Corradi, two associates whose ideas of the medical profession couldn’t be more different than those of Dr. Martini and Dr. Nobili. Guenda also faces a multitude of unexpected twists while in a relationship with Gus. Maria also battles in her relationship as she is forced to deal with the fear of losing Mauro who prioritises his career despite his love for her. As a result, Maria finds comfort in Roberto as someone to lean on and maybe more than a simple childhood friend. Bianca who had a difficult relationship with her mom Gemma, starts to see her in a new light due to Inge's presence and the changes that brings. Anna, now all grown up, experiences the magic of her first love, an overwhelming feeling that pushes her to take some risks. The fight to defend their home brings the Martini family closer than ever before, with Ave and Melina contributing to the difficult battle in a small symbolic way. The Venetian experiences a big love story but due to conflict from her new risky business, obstacles prevent her from enjoying a pleasant relationship. Dante and Melina prepare themselves for parenthood but between their attempts to boost morale and Piccione's usual troubles, there will be many laughs to be had. All this unfolds under the wings of Grandpa Libero, who supervises and protects, even from a distance. And that is the essence of the beloved beautiful Martini family.
