Divergence

Three individuals - a loser cop whose fiancée is missing, a wayward assassin, and a professional lawyer who is confused with the truth of justice - are somehow drawn together by a murder interweaving unpredictable people and events.

As a money laundering criminal is escorted back to Hong Kong, the assassin, Koo, shoots him and escapes. The son of the money-laundering mastermind, Yiu Tin Chung, has been abducted by other mysterious figures. Unlucky policeman Suen gets the complicated case assigned to him. But to his surprise, he discovers that the wife of Yiu Tin Chung's lawyer, To Hou San, looks very much like his girlfriend who disappeared ten years ago. As a result, he musters up determination to solve the case.
