When Süher Özlügül and Henk Cassens respond to a police call, it turns out to be a false alarm. Hanno Schlüter seems to be suffering from paranoia, as there is no trace of the alleged intruder; however, the situation takes a dark turn when Schlüter's wife, Femke, a marine biotechnology scientist, is found dead.
