Between Paris and Le Touquet, two couples and their children cross paths, and their encounter greatly disrupts their holidays. On one side, a chic and idle bourgeois from the Parisian suburbs finds her relationship with a wealthy real estate agent stagnating. She also has a penniless friend who tries to hide her situation, and a very uninhibited daughter who is having an affair with her father's employee. On the other side, a beautiful woman is persecuted by a jealous husband, who himself is confronted by a playboy with a long list of conquests.
