A therapist in a Swiss clinic, David, is assigned for the day to a rich patient, Madame Hansen Bergman. He finds himself caught up in a headlong dash for freedom, during which he and his patient will discover the root of what is troubling her.
David is an occupational therapist. He has recently been working in a wealthy Swiss clinic. One morning, one of her colleagues is missing, and she is entrusted with a patient to accompany on a city errand: Mrs. Hansen-Bergmann. Initially cautious and respectful of the medical protocol, David is procedural. But as he rubs shoulders with his patient, his curiosity grows: so much provocation and insolence, mixed with such sudden waves of unexplained distress and sorrow, can only hide a great trauma.
