Eighteen-year-old Roman suffers from a life-threatening liver disease. Despite his dire situation, Roman refuses to accept an urgently needed organ donation offered by his half-sister Jasmina. Desperate, Jasmina turns to psychologist Paul; he and his therapy dog Käthe are tasked with convincing Roman to accept her offer.
