Love is in the air as the Framm family starts a new chapter. Josh's mom marries her boyfriend, Buddy's veterinarian, and Buddy starts a family of his own when he meets Molly, a female retriever owned by a pretty teenage girl named Emma, who just moved into town. When Josh and Emma realize Buddy's all-pro soccer skills, the three of them join up to lead their co-ed soccer team to the state championships, but the game will have to wait when mischievous dognappers make off with Buddy and Molly's pups.
