Since September 1973, after the military coup led by General Pinochet, the Italian Embassy in Santiago, Chile has hosted hundreds and hundreds of asylum seekers. Through interviews with key players, this film tells the story of that dramatic period during which some Italian diplomats made possible the salvation of many human lives.
