A group of ghosts live together in the Château de Mérudeaux. Their "peaceful afterlife" is disrupted the day Alison and Nabil, a couple who have just inherited the place, arrive with the firm intention of turning it into a hotel.

They live in the Château de Mérudeaux where they lead a peaceful existence, until Alison and Nabil inherit the place, arrive, and plan to turn it into a hotel. The ghosts try to haunt them to drive them away but without success. Everything changes when, after an accident, Alison can see them. Stuck in the castle due to a mortgage and ongoing renovations, she has no choice but to get to know them and discovers endearing characters who will become her new family.
