Studio Film Bilder asked several talented young animators to choose an animal, write a story, create a design, and animate it in their personal style. Studio Film Bilder asked several talented young animators, just graduated from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg, to choose an animal, write a story, create a design, and animate it in their personal style. The animators had artistic freedom to create something unique. There were just two requests for the artists: one, the films should be understandable for small children, and second, the films should be funny and emotional. The animated shorts were used for the popular SWR show "I Know an Animal," which won awards like the Prix Jeunesse.
