Close to September portrays the life of Alejandra, a young woman who lives year-round with her family in a modest camping resort in a coastal town, where her daily life is filled with boredom and temporary seasonal love affairs. During the summer break, the campsite is filled with tourists who bring with them renewed energy, stories, and the possibility of brief romances that Alejandra enjoys without commitments.
