Paul, a shipyard worker, and his wife Florence impatiently await the birth of their triplets. Mathis, a successful trader has just discovered his biological father's identity but hesitates to meet him. Maud, a young overweight woman, struggles with her weight and seeks meaning in her life. Michael, a Division One soccer player, physically assaults an opponent after a tense match; his violent gesture spreads like wildfire across the Internet.

The fates of these five characters are intertwined beyond their shared birth date. We witness the birth of the triplets and discover they are members of the same family.
