Eight-year-old Ben (Braun) loves to conjure. Ben's clumsy father Koos also has magic aspirations, and one day he actually performs a trick in which he makes Sylvie, a classmate of Ben's, disappear. But then, much to everyone's consternation, something goes terribly wrong, and Ben and his father are in deep trouble. Fun and compelling youth film by Lürsen, with good acting by the young actors and by Maassen and Janzen as Ben's parents.
