Shin and Hyo, two boys orphaned by war in the western country of Qin, dream of training every day and one day becoming the greatest generals in the world through their military prowess in battle. Then a turning point comes for both. Hyo catches the eye of Shou bun kun, a minister in the royal court, and is taken to the palace. Soon after, however, Hyo, who is seriously injured in a power struggle in the royal court, narrowly escapes with his life and returns to his hometown. In a village that he finds from a map entrusted to him by Hyo, Shin meets a boy named Sei who looks exactly like Hyo. This boy is King Eisei of Qin, the future First Emperor.
