Gifted swimmer Junho always comes in fourth. He meets a new, unconventional coach and wins silver in the next competition. His little brother asks, "Did beating really help? Were you always in fourth place as you weren't beaten?" Covered in bruises, can Junho continue swimming, which he loves?
4th Place
Junho, a gifted young swimmer, always records fourth place in competitions. He meets a new coach Gwangsu, hired by his mom who is obsessed with first place. Guaranteeing first place and any college of his choice, Gwangsu uses unconventional methods to coach and asks Junho's mom not to come to the swimming pool during practice. Though he used to indulge in booze and gambling before competitions, Gwangsu was an Asian Games record breaker 16 years ago. In the competition, Junho finally comes in second place and wins his first silver medal. His family is happy, but then his little brother Giho's innocent question makes Junho turn pale. "Did beating really help? Were you always in fourth place as you weren't beaten?" Junho has bruises all over his body. Can he continue swimming, which he loves?
