During the 1970s, in Kunchon, there are women divers who are able to dive without equipment. But, as fewer factories start to be built near the beach, the women divers start to have trouble with what they are doing for a living. Without any choice, they decide to join the smuggling business.
Smugglers
During the 1970s, in Kunchon, there are women divers who are able to dive without equipment, including two best friends Choonja and Jinsook, Jinsook's brother and Hammer. They always collect seafood underwater for a living. But, as fewer factories start to be built near the beach, the women divers start to have trouble with what they are doing for a living. Without any choice, the ship crews decide to join the smuggling business in the water to seek a way for their living. But the smuggling business in their village gets too big for Jinsook's family to handle and the peaceful village is gradually broken.
