Haunted by visions of his dead mother, priest Henrik Hornéus leaves his northern village for Stockholm. When his father dies under mysterious circumstances, he must return home. There, he uncovers a sect-like congregation and a dark past, forcing him to confront the very demons that have plagued his soul.
