Mirtha is an independent, controlling and strict woman. Her son, Bartolo, has hit rock bottom, and she decides to straighten him out. She will try to get him married and into the family business. But, once again, Bartolo will surprise her.

Mirtha Del Cañon is the owner of a million-dollar company. Her only son, Bartolo, is a mess, and to straighten him out, she decides to look for a woman for him and put him to work. Mirtha organizes a casting to find the perfect daughter-in-law and assigns Alan, her assistant and right-hand man, to train her son in the company's tasks. Alan reluctantly agrees, thinking he's immature and whimsical. While she searches for the ideal woman, Alan and Bartolo develop a close relationship. Once again, Bartolo will surprise her.
