Chou Wei-wei always believes that she will marry her earnest and average boyfriend, Li Hao-i. But accidents always come uninvited. One day, Wei-wei chances upon a talented stock trader, Chu K'ei-huan at a party and sparks ignite. Wei-wei knows that Ke'i-huan is a dangerous man. She keeps warning herself that she and Ke'i-huan are no longer single and they should be neither lovers, nor friends.
