After his mother passes away, policeman Gau Jian Shiang is embroiled in a series of unfortunate events. He is caught for embezzlement with his colleague. Then, he runs over and kills a pedestrian. His attempt to cover up his crime plunges him into a transnational drug case.

After his mother passes away, policeman Gau Jian Shiang (Aaron Kwok) rushes over for the funeral. Nothing goes well for him the entire day. First, he is caught for embezzlement with his colleague. Then, he runs over and kills a pedestrian while driving in frustration. After covering up his accident, he is suddenly tasked to investigate a transnational drug case, in which the person wanted by the police is the nameless corpse he had hid.
