Desperate to fit in after moving to '90s Ireland, a young biracial boy shaves his Afro. The acceptance he craves is short-lived; his hair grows back, a relentless, monstrous force that consumes his room and traps him inside. Isolated and imprisoned by the identity he tried to discard, the boy must find a way to escape his hair and finally embrace who he truly is.
