A.D. 2008. U.N. Military pilot, Shin Kudo, gets shot down and washes ashore on Mayan Island where he is rescued by Priestess Sara Nome, and her sister, Mao. Meanwhile, the Protoculture relic, Bird Human, has been detected on the island, bringing the war to the shores of this peaceful island.
