Freakier Friday Special Look: So what’s this sequel all about?

Freakier Friday is now streaming on Disney+.

A fresh two‑minute Special Look has landed on Disney+, serving up a first taste of the mayhem. Years after Tess and Anna’s original swap, another mystical mix‑up trades bodies across three generations — Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lindsay Lohan) now find themselves swapped with Anna’s daughter Harper and soon‑to‑be step‑sister Lily. Expect quick-fire comedy, heartfelt lessons, and a fresh soundtrack as the Colemans race to reverse the chaos before Anna’s wedding to Eric Davies (Manny Jacinto).

Curtis and Lohan return as the mother-daughter duo, alongside Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, and Manny Jacinto, adding a new generation into the mix. Familiar faces also join the main cast with Mark Harmon as Ryan, Chad Michael Murray as Jake, and Christina Vidal Mitchell as Maddie. Nisha Ganatra serves as director, with producers Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, and Jamie Lee Curtis also on board. Freakier Friday introduces new complexities into the story as the characters experience life in a blended family.
