The film follows Bruce Springsteen in his early thirties as he lays down the stark demos that became the 1982 album, “Nebraska”. With Scott Cooper adapting Warren Zanes’ investigative book (Deliver Me from Nowhere: The Making of Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska), the movie promises an intimate portrait of the moments behind The Boss's most unexpected album.
The film lingers on the recording process with Bruce Springsteen bent over recording mixers with longtime manager, Jon Landau, as demos and sound develop over time.
