“Kamp Krusty” (Season 4, Episode 1)
Bart and Lisa go off for the summer to Krusty’s camp for kids. Instead of meeting Krusty, they meet his bean-counting surrogate, Mr.Black. That’s until Krusty returns and sets things right by taking the kids to Tijuana.
“Bart of Darkness” (Season 6, Episode 1)
During a very hot summer, Homer installs a pool in the Simpson backyard. Bart breaks his leg attempting to dive into it, and is unable to use the pool while all the other neighborhood kids do. “Itchy & Scratchyland” (Season 6, Episode 4)
Bart and Lisa ask their parents to take them to Itchy & Scratchyland, the "violentest place on earth." While there, Homer and Bart are arrested, and malfunctioning Itchy and Scratchy robots attack the Simpsons, a la Westworld. “Summer of 4 Ft. 2” (Season 7, Episode 25)
The Simpsons rent a summer cottage. Hanging around with a new set of kids, Lisa becomes popular, while Bart is uncool and nerdy. Bart tries to sabotage his sister’s newfound acceptance, but fails.
