In the North Sea, Norway's oil adventure takes a dramatic turn. An oil platform suddenly collapses off the Ormen Lange field. Scientists desperately seek a solution to the seemingly inexplicable event. Norway holds its breath when it turns out the accident is just the beginning of something far more serious. A human drama of life and death unfolds as thousands of oil workers are suddenly trapped on platforms across the North Sea. The largest rescue operation in Norwegian history becomes a reality. In the midst of this chaos is Sofia, a young entrepreneur working with highly advanced underwater robots. Together with her colleague Arthur, she must risk everything in a desperate race against the clock when it turns out that Sofia's partner is trapped in a destroyed platform deep beneath the raging sea surface.
