The death of an IT technician named Raph Fechner puts Ekki Talkötter in a bind as they had previously clashed at the office. Now, private investigator Georg Wilsberg must prove Ekki's innocence. Ekki is currently overseeing a software upgrade at the tax office, much to the annoyance of his colleague Nora Blum, who also applied for the role.
