The ARD evening crime series mixes humor with suspense, moving between Großstadtrevier and rural cases from Schleswig-Holstein to the Swabian Alps. Former investigator Finn Kiesewetter had planned to leave police work behind and live peacefully as an organic farmer in Brandenburg, but a fire destroyed his farm. With no other choice, he returns to Lübeck, where he stays with his aunts and resumes his role as detective.
